Master Artist-in-Residence Program

About the Master Artist-in-Residence Program

Thomas Struth, ACA Master artist working with associates.

Atlantic Center for the Arts is an innovative nonprofit artists-in-residence program that provides artists with an opportunity to work and collaborate with some of the world's masters in the visual, literary, and performing arts. Since the program began in 1982, over 3500 artists have been served from the US and around the world.

Master Artist-in-Residence Schedule

Since 1982, Atlantic Center's residency program has provided artists from all artistic disciplines with spaces to live, work, and collaborate during three-week residencies. Each session includes three master artists of different disciplines. During the residency, artists participate in informal sessions with their group, collaborate on projects, and work independently on their own projects. The relaxed atmosphere and unstructured program provide time for artistic regeneration and creation.
